Family: The Martins

When Katrina found out that I do a bit of photography as a hobby, she asked if I would consider taking recent family pictures for them. So before going into work on a Monday evening, we met and I was able to capture a few poses for these sweet people. This family is beautiful, and the spirit that radiates from them is proof that Jesus is a very big part of their home.

Baby Bump!

They were married in the Summer of 2011...

And then God decided to grace them with a little bundle of joy.... Heidi asked if I would do some baby-bump pictures for them and the sweet little person who would soon be entering this world. As usual I was more than delighted! I had never had the chance before, so I jumped at the opportunity to use a bit of creativity.

This was before I moved to PA for the Summer [I know, I'm just now getting them posted] the fact that I wouldn't be around to take new-born pictures of the little sweetie saddened me, but I was grateful to be able to capture this much of them.

Senior: Wanda

 This young lady is spirit, life, and love.

We've been friends [and secret adopted sisters. Shhhh. We decided that it's a really good thing that we're not actual sisters, cause our moms could never have handled us together] ever since we were about 2 years old... Through crushes, fights, laughs, and giggles... She's a true friend. She has big dreams for her young life and I love watching her discover and thrive in them.

She loves reading, social life and parties are a must, life isn't life without a bit of adventure, sunglasses on a sunny day, movies with sisters and friends, pizza, and coke.

Wanda, you inspire me honey. Keep bringing sunshine to the people around you and shoot for the moon. [Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars]

Senior:: Ericka

       Her family moved to the beautiful South when she was 7 years old, they joined our church, and we became immediate enemies. No joke. I thought she was the bossiest, sassiest, blondest, little Northern girl. Of course with a bit of time, I got over my silly little ideas and then realized that she was one of the sweetest girls on earth. We soon became best of friends and have been close ever since. In my high school year of school she joined our new church school [they weren't enrolling 12th graders yet] and much to our dislike, we didn't see each other as much as we'd like. Now we're all grown up and moving on in life. She plans to join a college after graduating, this girl has a very big and bright future ahead of her!

     She loves to curl up on the couch with a good book and a mug of coffee, has a hidden talent of painting, loves evenings at home with her family, chocolate is a must, and did I mention style? This girl has incredible style. Love it!! She's beautiful. inside and out. And she's made my life so much more bright. I'm proud of you dear!! Go after those beautiful dreams of yours and don't settle for less than the best that God has for you. You'll go far.
